Young Trees |
Scrub Management |
| To give our young trees the best possible start in life, Greenlink Forestry Ltd. use Arbeta® twin-wall tree tubes, for excellent support, plant growth, and protection. | Scrub, especially when adjacent to species-rich grassland, is valuable habitat for invertebrates, birds, bats, and many other species associated with woodland edge. Consequently, the old concept of scrub control (which usually meant eradication) has been superceded by the recognition that scrub, like other wildlife habitats, requires careful management. The team at Greenlink Forestry Ltd. have extensive experience in drawing up and implementing scrub management plans for a range of wildlife objectives, and can also identify appropriate sources of grant aid for such projects. |
